Maurice Todman - director/editor

With over 30 years experience in TV and video production and post-production, award winning director/editor Maurice has worked with the who’s who of the Australian music industry, numerous international artists, a wealth of advertising agencies, corporate clients and produced, directed and edited a self-funded documentary on Tibetan children growing up in exile in India.

Studying classical piano in his youth, plus his general love of music, helped immeasurably as co-founder of Perpetual Motion Pictures with award-winning producer Jo Cadman, directing and editing music videos, long-form music specials, including ‘Geldof Goes Goondiwindi’, a rockumentary on Sir Bob Geldof playing at an Aussie B&S Ball, John Farnham’s Chain Reaction Tour and Joe Jackson’s Laughter and Lust Tour as well as directing and editing TV commercials for clients such as Gatorade, Foxtel, Ikea, Pepsi, Sun-Herald, White Wings, Bayer and Clean Up Australia Day. Utilising his camera skills, clients such as Lanstead Investors, Ozbreed Environmental Turf and Plant Breeders and Larson Wedding Rings have all benefitted from his expertise at completing the jobs on time, on budget and to their satisfaction.

Focussing on editing more recently he has cut and conformed the Australian Rally Championship TV shows from 2009-2015, the first four series of Eclipse Music TV and from 2016 he edited many of the Australian 4WD Action DVD's and edited a documentary on and for Engelbert Humperdinck,  which in 2024 is now available through Apple TV and Amazon.
